Please help us look after the Peak District Boundary Walk by reporting any footpath problems e.g. path & stile maintenance, obstructions etc at Derbyshire County Council or Peak and Northern Footpaths Society (PNFS)

50Y-logo-150x150 The Castle Mountaineering Club is a BMC affiliated mountaineering club based in Sheffield. To celebrate the Club’s 50th Anniversary, club members undertook three challenges in the Peak District in July 2017: one climbing, one walking and one cycling. They also added an additional Peak District Boundary Walk challenge which was coordinated by Sean Jennings. Each of the stages of the Boundary Walk was done by some member(s) of the Club between July and their Anniversary Celebration weekend in October. Less than four weeks after the launch, on Thursday 13th July, James Hall was the first man to complete all 190 miles. Congratulations James!!
